When To Book A Carvan Service

We recommend servicing your caravan every 10000 Klms or every 12 months. This is for two reasons:

If you are a regular user and clocking up the kilometres constantly, naturally you will be causing wear to many of the components of the caravan.
After 10000 kms, the hottest spot for wear is in the braking system. It is important to remove the brakes and check for bearing, magnet and lining condition. Also it is a great time to refresh the grease.

If you are not a regular user, then the condition of components and fittings can waiver from sitting for periods of time.
Common issues arising from prolonged sitting is water ingress into the hubs, battery discharge and general stiffening up of mechanisms across any number of items on the exterior of the RV. By servicing every 12 months, it ensures that items are kept fresh and ready for use.
